Stanley Hall MBE

Stanley Hall is a retired railwayman, having been part of the industry for 40 years. He was a Railfuture Vice President until late 2015 when he stood down.

His career began as a junior booking clerk in Keighley and he rose through the ranks to become deputy station master at Kings Cross.

He is particularly knowledgeable on signalling and safety issues, having later specialised in signalling technology and accident investigation and prevention.  He is an honorary fellow of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers, and also holds fellowships of the  Institution of Railway Operators and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

He lives in Embsay, Yorkshire.
