Railfuture East Anglia have written to MPs local to the Royston to Cambridge line expressing concern as to why the minimum service specification published by the Department for Transport for the Thameslink Franchise shows a worse service than is currently being operated for Meldreth, Shepreth and Foxton stations. The letter asks "how a service which supports the local transport plan, in a growing region, in a period with investment in the rail service, and has been mentioned by the local Rail User Group during consultation can suddenly find itself with a protected service worse than the current one".
